Champions For Children
The Marriage Resource Center of Carroll County (MRC) is a 50l (c)(3) faith-based organization established in 2004 and is located in the Carroll Non Profit Center in Westminster. We are dedicated to strengthening marriages and families, including involved fatherhood, through relationship education community partnerships, and awareness efforts.
The vision of healthy marriages and families is a shared vision. Some hold this view because of a spiritual belief that strong marriages and families are a part of God's creative plan. Others hold this view because of their concern about the effect of troubled and failed marriages on adults and children alike, and the relationship they have to poverty, violence in the home, educational achievement, teenage pregnancy, school dropouts, crime, and substance abuse.
Children have a right to be safe, loved and cared for and a healthy marriage provides the best environment for them to thrive.
Regardless of the motivation, together, as Champions For Children, we can build strong marriages and families.
