Bill & Anne McKenna Founders, Co-Directors

Retired Carroll County Public School educators, the couple was married 50 years this August and has four children and 12 Bill-and-Annegrandchildren. Bill spent over 30 years teaching, coaching, and as an athletic director. The McKennas are trained mentors and marriage educators certified to teach numerous curricula including FOCCUS and REFOCCUS, PAIRS Relationship Skills, The Couple Check-up, Prepare-Enrich, 10 Great Dates To Energize Your Marriage, and Couple to Couple, a unique marriage enrichment program. They started their work in marriage education by developing a marriage ministry in their local church. As the word spread to other churches, they decided, with the encouragement of the local ministerium, to form an independent organization.  The Marriage Resource Center (MRC) was founded in November of 2004 as Marriage Savers and changed its name in 2007 after gaining 501(c)3 status.  Bill and Anne teach the "Make It Last" class and oversee the day to day operations of MRC.
