Bill & Anne McKenna Founders, MRECenter Co-Directors

Retired Carroll County Public School educators, the couple was married 51 years this past August and has four children and 12 grandchildren. Bill spent over 30 years teaching, coaching, and as an athletic director. The McKennas are certified in multiple marriage education programs.  They started their work in marriage education by developing a marriage ministry in their local church. As the word spread to other churches, they decided, with the encouragement of the local ministerium, to form an independent organization.  

The Marriage & Relationship Education Center (formally known as Marriage Resource Center) was founded in November of 2004 and gained 501(c)3 status in December, 2006.
