Two upcoming trainings are scheduled:
1) How To Avoid Falling In Love with a Jerk/Jerkette - We're excited to announce a special training here in Westminster, thanks to Martin K.P., and Kelly Hill, featuring PICK author, Dr. John Van Epp., on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9 - 4:30 p.m., (registration at 8:30) at the Carroll Nonprofit Center, 255 Clifton Blvd., Westminster, 21157. **Participants will be certified to teach the PICK program following this training.
We have scholarships available for Carroll County service providers: The first 20 individuals to register, and who serve Carroll residents - your cost for the certification training is only $200 (plus optional $10 for lunch.) This fee includes training by Dr. John Van Epp at no cost, and the PICK Instructor Certification Packet (ICP) You can see more detail here:
In the packet you will receive: The PICK Instructor's Manual, Powerpoint, PICK Discussion Workbook, 2' x 3' RAM display board, a magnetic Mini RAM, the 6-hour DVD home instruction course and PICK video series on DVD.
Additional participants' cost: $275 which includes your $250 PICK Instructor Certification Packet (ICP), described above, and also includes an small additional charge to help us cover the cost of the event (optional $10 for lunch.)

The PICK training will empower you to: Help others develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the people they date; Teach how to build healthier relationships that includes boundaries to maintain life balance during relationships; Have extensive knowledge of what to explore in the exciting journey of picking a partner for life. 2) Mentor Skills Training - For couples who are considering mentoring in their churches or for MRC. Saturday, March 17, location TBD. Trainers will be Pastor Greg and Terri Miller.
