Courageous Parenting

Research continues to show that parents are the #1 influencers on their children's choices when it comes to decisions about dating relationships, drugs and alcohol, so it's important that we not let them down. That's why we're excited to introduce Courageous Parenting, an interactive three-part parenting program to encourage, equip, and inspire moms and dads as they raise their kids. Geared towards parents of Middle and High School students, the first three classes in the series cover topics from the WAIT Trainig (Why Am I Tempted?) curriculum produced by The Center for Relationship Education.  The instructor, Mrs. Kelly Hurst, is a 17-year veteran health teacher with a passion for helping young people to live well, love well, and marry well, when the time is right. Topics will include: How to Talk to Your Teen About Sex, Personalities, the Influence of Music and Culture on your teen, and much more.

Classes are free but you must register in advance by contacting This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your full name and contact information in the event that we need to reach you.  You may also call MRC at 410-386-9003.
